Overview
The Head of Products & Services leads the strategic direction and performance of Wellfit’s sports and training programs, working with Heads of Sport (Martial Arts, S&C & Personal Training++) to ensure programs meet revenue and utilization targets.
Reporting to the General Manager, this role develops high‑performance partnerships and manages a professional team to ensure effective program delivery across all age groups.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement an exciting program of high-quality programs. Ensuring that the program delivers an outstanding experience for all members.
- Lead the continued growth and development of the programs, seeking ways to support growth in delivery during peak and non-peak periods, identify new opportunities, new programs, and support the effective marketing and communication of the programs to schools, groups and other bodies.
- Lead motivate and support your team, building commitment, enthusiasm and confidence.
- Ensure that the expectations and accountabilities of staff and freelance staff are clear.
- Manage performance of all direct reports to achieve business plan objectives.
- Accountable for team’s business deliverables by setting targets, following up, providing feedback and support for progress.
- Provide direct reports with timely and clear support and performance management, including by explaining and enforcing company policies, protocols, and expectations.
- Implement and execute all operational SOPs including administrative duties associated with client outreach and staff accountabilities.
- Promote fair play principles throughout all programs.
- Find, nurture, and develop talent, owning the candidate interviews, and manage the onboarding of new hires by assisting with all onboarding responsibilities during the 90-day onboarding program.
- Conduct weekly Department and Management meetings.
- Obtain and act on member feedback.
- Deliver department results at or above Wellfit’s expectations.
- Drive Wellfit’s values and vision internally and externally.
