About the Role
Groupe Dynamite seeks a Product Manager, Merchandising to lead product line management for the Dynamite banner. You will drive assortment planning, manage OTB, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver trend-right fashion.

- Drive current/future growth of the department through development of merchandise assortments
- Develop creative and innovative strategies to drive a business plan
- Understand and analyze competition and marketplace to enhance customer focus
- Manage OTB in order to drive and build business strategies
- Lead and manage line planning, pricing, and product creation process
- Analyze performance and plans to identify sales and margin opportunities
- Effectively lead business meetings and communicate with cross functional teams
- Collaborate with visual team on development and execution of floor sets
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum 3 years experience in fashion buying and/or fashion product management
- Excellent sense of style and knowledge of fashion trends
- Strong financial acumen and analytical skills
- Excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken)
- Solid planning skills with experience managing an Open to Buy
- Strong ability to work in teams and leadership skills
- Good computer skills (Excel and/or equivalent software systems)
- In depth understanding of our brand and its target market

Overview
- Groupe Dynamite Inc. is a Montréal based public company operating the GARAGE and DYNAMITE banners, with nearly 300 stores across Canada and the US.
Main Responsibilities
- Drive current/future growth of the department through development of merchandise assortments
- Develop creative and innovative strategies to drive a business plan
- Understand and analyze competition and marketplace to enhance customer focus
- Manage OTB in order to drive and build business strategies
- Work with planning to manage OTB for receipts, sales, margin, markdowns, weeks of stock
- Lead and manage line planning, pricing, and product creation process including style/color plan and sizing strategy
- Analyze performance and plans to identify sales and margin opportunities
- Adapt to changes/trends in the business and marketplace
- Lead business meetings and communicate with cross functional teams
- Collaborate with visual team on development and execution of floor sets
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum 3 years experience in fashion buying and/or fashion product management
- Excellent sense of style and knowledge of fashion trends
- Strong product knowledge and balance of analytical and creative abilities
- Strong financial acumen and analytical skills
- Language of work: French or English, excellent communication skills in English required
- Solid planning skills with experience managing an Open to Buy
- Strong ability to work in teams and leadership skills
- Good computer skills (Excel and/or equivalent software systems)
- In depth understanding of our brand and its target market
