Product Manager – Government Digital Platforms (Abu Dhabi)

Role overview

Product strategy and roadmap

• Own strategy and roadmaps for assigned government products within the wider product direction.
• Translate government priorities, policy requirements, and user needs into deliverable plans.
• Set goals for adoption, client satisfaction, uptime, and delivery quality.
• Identify opportunities to converge products onto shared platform foundations.

Government relationships

• Act as the main product contact for government clients and maintain alignment on scope, priorities, and outcomes.
• Track client satisfaction, service performance, uptime, and incident trends, and own corrective action.
• Run discovery sessions and requirements workshops with government stakeholders.
• Represent products in governance forums and steering committees with evidence-based reporting.

Delivery and lifecycle

• Own products across discovery, requirements, delivery, launch, adoption, and ongoing improvement.
• Prioritize the backlog based on government priority, customer value, technical dependencies, and risk.
• Track delivery against roadmap and service commitments and act when performance slips.

AI and cross-functional leadership

• Find and deliver practical AI and automation opportunities while balancing innovation with privacy, security, and regulation.
• Lead delivery across Technology, UX, Operations, Finance, and third-party partners.
• Manage product risks involving delivery, adoption, integration, security, privacy, and third-party dependencies.
• Communicate progress, satisfaction, risks, and trade-offs to leadership and senior stakeholders.

What the employer seeks

• At least 10 years in product management, digital product development, digital transformation, or a similar field.
• Experience managing government projects, government digital services, or large public sector technology initiatives.
• Track record of owning complex digital products from strategy and requirements through delivery, launch, and value realization.
• Strong product fundamentals in strategy, roadmapping, prioritization, lifecycle management, and outcome measurement.
• Experience with client satisfaction, service quality, uptime, SLAs, incident management, and closed-loop feedback.
• Understanding of enterprise platforms, APIs, system integrations, Agile/Scrum, and JIRA.
• Understanding of AI-enabled products, automation, privacy, security, and responsible use.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, business, economics, information systems, marketing, or a similar field.
• A master’s degree, MBA, or recognized product, Agile, or project certification is a plus.
