Job Scope
The Product Manager drives sales of assigned products through a defined strategy and develops partnerships with existing and potential vendors.
The role optimizes sales volumes, maintains vendor relations, acquires new partnerships, and coordinates marketing programs with Solution Teams.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Define the product strategy and roadmap and manage the full product lifecycle.
- Develop product channels with Sales Managers across every territory.
- Conduct market research and customer visits to define current and future product requirements.
- Lead vendor relationships and identify potential product partners.
- Manage complex quotations and maintain accurate inventory tracking and control.
- Oversee marketing programs, sales forecasts, and market development reports.
- Support partners and customers, build the customer database, and grow long-term product revenue and profitability.
- Promote the products and company within the region.
Position Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales and Marketing, Engineering, or a related field is required.
- The role requires 5–7 years of relevant experience in the IT or software industry.
- Hands-on IBM software portfolio experience, preferably in Data, AI, or Automation, is preferred.
