Role Overview
Entry-level or early-career Product Engineer role focused on established technical work at the subsystem and component level.
The role supports current and future products across the product lifecycle and coordinates with engineering, customer, purchasing, supplier, and manufacturing teams.
The position involves independent execution of established processes, increasing technical complexity, and limited direct people management.
Core Responsibilities
- Investigate product problems, determine causes, recommend action, own resolution, and document results.
- Execute PPT, VPI, CPS, Engineering Standard Work, iDFMEA, FIRG, seven-step problem solving, and design review activities.
- Gather stakeholder input and provide technical information and recommendations for quality product decisions.
- Perform analysis, simulation interpretation, testing, work-instruction decisions, and cross-disciplinary coordination.
- Own moderately complex product issues and contribute to process and system improvements.
- Coordinate work among technicians or temporary student employees when required.
