- Review our product portfolio, applications and identify improvements and reliability of our products.
- Participate in developing project plans, test plans, and writing test reports; assist with creating, maintaining, and revising product project plans and effectively communicate project deadlines.
- Devise testing methods and develop test cases to confirm the functionality of electrical components and systems.
- Set up a test environment to effectively test products per test plans developed by you and approved by the engineering manager.
- Create product documentation: solid modeling of components and assemblies, technical drawings, BOM’s, etc.
- Create and maintain wiring schematics and board layouts for new R&D as well as legacy product.
- Ensure products are in compliance with applicable standards such as UL, CE etc.
- Apply internal project management strategies and adhere to deadlines.
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a similar field is preferred
- 4+ years of experience industrial charging or control systems
- Product design life cycle experience
- Electrical controls, Embedded systems and CAN Bus protocol
- Must have the ability to make recommendations to effectively resolve problems or issues, by using judgment that is consistent with standards, practices, and policies.
