The role will shape how customers book and manage flights, stays, activities, and other travel products.
The designer will work with engineers, product managers, and other designers to turn problems and opportunities into meaningful experiences.
The role requires understanding customer needs and behaviors, business objectives, market trends, and systems.
Responsibilities
- Identify customer needs, behaviors, and pain points and define opportunities and problem statements.
- Lead and support discovery activities including user interviews, surveys, and usability tests.
- Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and designers to deliver solutions across web and mobile platforms.
- Balance business needs, technical constraints, data, and platform requirements when developing solutions.
- Translate opportunities into elegant, intuitive, and effective customer experiences.
- Produce concepts and prototypes rapidly and pragmatically, adapting ideation and direction as needed.
- Run frequent experiments to validate assumptions and optimize solutions.
Profile Requirements
- 3–5 years of product design experience in a consumer-focused organization.
- A proven record of successfully shipped mobile and web experiences.
- Deep understanding of product strategy and business requirements with a focus on customer needs and pain points.
- Experience planning and conducting interviews, surveys, and usability tests and integrating insights into design.
- Strong communication skills for explaining work and complex concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Excellent visual design skills and proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Framer, Miro, or Proto.io.
- Experience working with and contributing to a design system.
- Knowledge of Google Material Guidelines and Apple Human Interface Guidelines.
- Basic experience using data and analytics to inform design decisions.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in Arabic and English.
- An online portfolio or PDF with up to three representative projects is required for consideration.
