About the Role
Amazon is seeking a Procurement Specialist to join the Site Procurement Operations team in Riyadh, supporting Amazon Stores Operations. The role involves sourcing, supplier management, and strategic procurement projects for internal business partners.

Responsibilities
- Manage the SPO Process and policy, from needs detection to execution of sourcing requirements
- Anticipate and understand business needs to provide the right procurement strategy
- Lead sourcing, supplier due diligence, negotiations, risk assessments, and other best practices using Coupa and other tools
- Conduct market research and evaluate supplier manufacturing capabilities
- Deliver projects (RFI, RFQ, etc.) with different spend thresholds and complexity
- Execute and support GPO projects and initiatives (tenders, cost optimizations, sustainability, process improvements)
- Be the face of Procurement for operations on site and build effective business partnering
- Proactively partner with site leadership, other GPO teams, and key partner functions such as Finance or Legal
- Lead MBR and QBR with main internal and external stakeholders
- Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) to add value to procurement local categories and processes
- Deliver contracts from A to Z mastering CLM and drive contract compliance from suppliers
- Manage supplier performance and ensure highest levels of service
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Experience in procurement
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities (preferred)
- Experience in supply chain, commodity, and supplier management in a high volume, global sourcing environment (preferred)
- Knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., SAP, ORACLE, Coupa) in large organizations (preferred)

Description
- Amazon is seeking a Procurement Specialist to join the EMEA Site Procurement Operations (SPO) Team in Riyadh, KSA.
- The role supports Amazon Stores Operations and involves leading strategic procurement projects for internal business partners.
- The role delivers Key SPO Performance Indicators targets such as savings, compliance, sustainability, and Invoice on Hold.
Key Job Responsibilities
- Manage the SPO Process and policy, from needs detection to execution of sourcing requirements.

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Experience in procurement
