Key Responsibilities
- Receive and review purchase requests from various departments.
- Source qualified suppliers and evaluate quotations to select the most suitable offers.
- Negotiate with suppliers to secure the best prices and commercial terms.
- Prepare and issue purchase orders and follow up on their approval and execution.
- Monitor procurement activities and ensure compliance with delivery schedules.
- Coordinate with warehouses and requesting departments to verify receipt of goods and compliance with specifications.
- Develop and maintain professional relationships with suppliers and keep supplier databases up to date.
- Monitor inventory levels and contribute to forecasting future procurement needs.
- Prepare periodic reports on purchasing activities, costs, and supplier performance.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies, procedures, and approved regulations.
- Resolve issues related to supply, quality, or invoicing in coordination with relevant stakeholders.
- Contribute to cost savings through process improvements and effective supplier negotiations.
