Responsibilities
- Support Procurement Manager and Category Managers with sourcing activities while independently managing own procurement projects
- Manage procurement process end to end from requisition to delivery, including supporting payment processing
- Carry out procurement activities across multiple spend categories applying category management principles
- Lead contract and vendor negotiations, negotiating commercial terms and costs
- Identify and deliver procurement savings through strategic sourcing, optimization, negotiation
- Manage supplier relationships and performance including evaluation and risk management
- Manage supplier due diligence and vendor on boarding process
- Drive improvement in procurement processes through standardization and automation
- Ensure governance and compliance with Group policies and Delegation of Authority
- Input into Procurement Reporting including tracker and monthly reporting
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline
- 5+ years' experience in a sourcing / procurement role
- Demonstrated track record of delivering sourcing projects and savings
- Knowledge of end to end procurement and sourcing process
- Proven experience in contract negotiations and vendor negotiations
- Knowledge and experience of category management
- Experience in operational procurement and strategic sourcing
- Experience in spend analysis and optimization initiatives

Role Overview
- Carries out procurement activities across multiple categories for the Group.
- Supports Procurement Manager and Category Managers on sourcing initiatives.
- Independently owns and delivers own projects from initiation through completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Support Procurement Manager and Category Managers with sourcing activities; independently manage own projects.

Experience & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline.
- 5+ years' experience in a sourcing / procurement role.
- Experience within a bank or financial services company preferred but not essential.
- Demonstrated track record of delivering sourcing projects and savings.
Job Specific Skills & Knowledge
- Knowledge of end to end procurement and sourcing process.
- Proven experience in contract negotiations and vendor negotiations.
- Knowledge and experience of category management.
- Technology / IT category knowledge is a plus.
- Experience in operational procurement and strategic sourcing.
- Experience in spend analysis and optimization initiatives.
- Supplier Relationship Management experience is a plus.
- Excellent working knowledge of Oracle Fusion ERP is an advantage.
- Strong negotiation and relationship management skills.
