About the Role
Tasleeh Facility Management is hiring a Procurement Officer for the supermarket section to source and manage merchandise including fresh produce, groceries, and FMCG.

Responsibilities
- Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers/vendors to secure best prices, quality, and delivery terms
- Prepare and issue purchase orders based on stock requirements and sales forecasts
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate with store/warehouse teams to prevent overstocking or stockouts
- Ensure timely delivery of goods and resolve any delays or discrepancies with suppliers
- Negotiate contracts, pricing agreements, and payment terms with suppliers
- Conduct market research to identify new suppliers, products, and pricing trends
- Ensure all purchased goods meet quality, safety, and regulatory standards
- Manage supplier performance and maintain vendor database/records
- Coordinate with finance department on invoicing, payments, and budget compliance
- Handle product returns, damaged goods, and supplier claims
- Maintain accurate procurement records, contracts, and pricing history
- Support promotional planning by coordinating bulk purchases and special deals with suppliers
Requirements
- 3–4 years of procurement/purchasing experience, preferably in supermarket, retail, or FMCG environment
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
- Knowledge of inventory management and supply chain principles
- Proficiency in MS Excel and procurement/ERP software
- Good analytical and problem solving abilities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Job Purpose
