Role overview
The employer is seeking a Procurement Officer to manage purchasing operations and supplier relationships.
The role includes sourcing suppliers locally and internationally while achieving suitable prices, quality, and delivery timelines.
Responsibilities
- Research suppliers and compare prices and quotations.
- Negotiate with suppliers to obtain the best prices and terms.
- Issue and follow up on purchase orders through delivery.
- Track shipments and delivery schedules and coordinate with suppliers.
- Build and develop the supplier database.
- Verify that products meet the required specifications.
- Follow up on invoices and procurement-related documents.
- Research new products and suppliers in China, Turkey, and other countries.
Requirements
- 2–5 years of experience in procurement.
- Ability to negotiate and communicate with suppliers.
- Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office.
- Good level of English.
- Ability to work with suppliers in China, Turkey, and other countries.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to follow up effectively.
- Experience in contracting, construction materials, swimming pools, or landscaping is preferred.
