Responsibilities
- Procure joinery, carpentry, steel, glass, hardware, and fit out materials for factory production
- Coordinate with Production team, Factory Manager, and Site Teams to ensure timely material availability
- Review drawings, cutting lists, and material requests to calculate required quantities
- Source materials from approved suppliers ensuring quality and delivery schedules
- Maintain supplier relationships and negotiate competitive prices and delivery terms
- Monitor stock levels and arrange timely replenishment
- Compare quotations and prepare purchase orders
- Track material deliveries and ensure orders meet specifications
- Maintain procurement records, supplier databases, and purchasing reports
Requirements
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in procurement within the joinery, carpentry, furniture, or fit out industry
- Strong knowledge of joinery materials (MDF, Plywood, Veneer, Laminates, Solid Wood, Hardware, etc.)
- Good knowledge of UAE suppliers and the local market
- Ability to read drawings and calculate material requirements
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Valid UAE Driving License (Mandatory)

Overview
- We are looking for an experienced Procurement Officer with a strong background in joinery and fit out materials. The candidate will be responsible for sourcing, purchasing, and coordinating all materials required for factory production and site requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Procure all joinery, carpentry, steel, glass, hardware, and fit out materials required for factory production.
- Coordinate closely with the Production team, Factory Manager, and Site Teams to ensure materials are available on time.
- Review drawings, cutting lists, and material requests to calculate and arrange required quantities.
- Source materials from approved suppliers while ensuring quality, specifications, and delivery schedules are met.
- Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and negotiate competitive prices and delivery terms.
- Monitor stock levels and arrange timely replenishment of materials.
- Compare quotations and prepare purchase orders.
- Track material deliveries and ensure all orders are received as per specifications.
- Support urgent factory and site material requirements.
- Maintain procurement records, supplier databases, and purchasing reports.
- Coordinate transportation and logistics when required.
Requirements
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in procurement within the joinery, carpentry, furniture, or fit out industry.
- Strong knowledge of joinery materials, including: MDF, Plywood, Veneer, Laminates, Solid Wood, Hardware & Ironmongery, Adhesives and Finishing Materials, Steel materials.
- Good knowledge of UAE suppliers and the local market.
- Ability to read drawings and calculate material requirements.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Ability to work under pressure and handle urgent procurement requirements.
- Valid UAE Driving License (Mandatory).
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in a joinery or fit out factory environment.
- Knowledge of ERP or procurement management systems.
- Familiarity with production planning and material take off processes.
