Responsibilities
- Purchase goods, materials, components, and services against cost, quality, and delivery targets locally and internationally.
- Ensure continuous supply and communicate risks that may affect operations.
- Monitor market trends, competitor strategies, and supplier markets.
- Research opportunities, reduce costs, and improve procurement processes.
- Negotiate contracts, prices, and business terms with suppliers.
- Assess suppliers and subcontractors, conduct performance reviews, and manage improvement activities.
- Ensure compliance with purchasing policies and procedures.
- Assess tenders and quotations, prepare purchase orders, and resolve supplier issues.
