Role overview
The employer is seeking an Admin / Procurement Assistant for a joinery and interior fit-out team.
The role combines administrative support, procurement coordination, project documentation, and selected HR administration duties.
Key responsibilities
- Provide daily administrative support.
- Source materials, obtain quotations, process purchase orders, and follow up with suppliers.
- Coordinate deliveries and maintain purchase, invoice, and supplier records.
- Liaise with vendors, subcontractors, and internal departments.
- Support project documentation and general office administration.
- Maintain confidential employee records, contracts, and HR databases.
- Administer leave, attendance, HR reports, payroll data, and employee queries when needed.
Requirements
- Previous experience in administration and procurement.
- Joinery, interior fit-out, or construction experience is preferred.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Microsoft Office proficiency, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Procurement process and supplier coordination knowledge is an advantage.
