Overview

  • A prominent first class contracting company is announcing the need for a Procurement Manager with high qualifications to enhance its team in Riyadh.
  • Interested candidates are encouraged to send their CVs along with certificates of experience and any other relevant professional certifications.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in procurement management, including at least 5 years in the Saudi Arabian market as a Procurement Manager.
  • Previous experience in the contracting and construction projects sector.
  • Proven ability to develop procurement plans in alignment with project schedules and budgets.
  • Experience in sourcing subcontractors, evaluating them, negotiating with them, and finalizing contracts.
  • Proficiency in drafting contracts for contractors and suppliers and managing them until execution.
  • High skill in preparing schedules (logistics) and periodic reports related to procurement and costs.
  • Advanced skills in using Office programs (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to relocate within the Kingdom.
  • Fully prepared to work immediately.
  • Experience in government projects is preferred.
  • The candidate should preferably be based in Riyadh.

  • Preparation and implementation of procurement strategies ensuring the availability of quality materials and services at the right cost and time for company projects.
  • Management of the complete procurement process (request for quotations, bid analysis, negotiation, issuance of purchase orders, and monitoring until delivery).
  • Searching for new suppliers and subcontractors and building a current database for them.
  • Negotiating with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain the best prices and contractual terms.
  • Preparation and monitoring of procurement logs, tracking requests, and ensuring compliance with deadlines.
  • Preparation of periodic reports on procurement performance, costs, and savings, and submitting them to management.
  • Continuous coordination with project teams, finance, and stakeholders to ensure smooth procurement operations.
