Procurement Manager – Freelance (m/f/d)

Your mission

Assignment details

• This is a temporary freelance role supporting a project in Riyadh.
• The assignment runs from October 2026 through the end of July 2027.
• Candidates must have the documentation, permits, and visas required to work legally in Saudi Arabia for the assignment.

Responsibilities

• Manage procurement of subcontracted services, materials, equipment, rental solutions, and AV equipment.
• Serve as the project procurement point of contact for planning, budgeting, and risk management.
• Develop procurement strategies, frameworks, and project-specific commercial agreements.
• Manage supplier and subcontractor relationships across KSA and the region.
• Lead tenders, supplier evaluations, negotiations, and contract management.
• Oversee purchase orders, supplier performance, subcontractor coordination, and timely delivery.
• Identify cost savings, mitigate procurement and supply chain risks, and maintain quality standards.
• Maintain documentation, conduct commercial evaluations, and coordinate with logistics.

Your profile

• At least 5 years of procurement experience in construction, fit-out, AV, exhibitions, events, or turnkey projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience providing onsite procurement support and managing subcontractors, RFQs, negotiations, and contracts.
• Hands-on purchase order experience with EasyJob or a similar ERP or procurement system.
• Knowledge of construction trades, fit-out works, AV systems, KSA procurement practices, and local market requirements.
• Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent English is required; Arabic language skills are a plus.
• Available for a fixed-term assignment and onsite project support as needed.
