Technical Planner, Video - Event Production (m/f/d)

Your mission

Responsibilities

• Create detailed 2D and 3D Vectorworks drawings for LED screens, projection systems, displays, equipment positioning, cable routes, and technical infrastructure.
• Prepare system designs, signal flows, equipment specifications, schematics, patching information, and technical documentation.
• Coordinate video designs with audio, lighting, and rigging disciplines.
• Review venue, architectural, production, and project drawings to identify requirements, constraints, and risks.
• Support equipment lists, scopes of work, supplier requirements, tendering, pre-production, installation, commissioning, rehearsals, and onsite delivery.
• Maintain current drawings and documentation and contribute to technical standards, templates, workflows, libraries, and best practices.
• Maintain knowledge of video technologies, LED and projection systems, signal processing, networking, software, and industry developments.

Your profile

• Experience in technical planning, video system design, video engineering, or a similar role within live events, entertainment, experiential, broadcast, theatre, or a related industry.
• Strong understanding of professional video systems, including LED displays, projection, media servers, video processing, switching, signal distribution, networking, and infrastructure.
• Strong Vectorworks proficiency and experience producing detailed technical drawings for live events or entertainment environments.
• Understanding of video system design, signal flow, resolution and format requirements, equipment selection, connectivity, and system integration.
• Experience coordinating video requirements with audio, lighting, rigging, staging, power, and structures disciplines.
• Strong communication, collaboration, independent working, and multidisciplinary project team skills.
• Previous experience on Middle East and/or international event production projects.
• Degree, diploma, or relevant technical qualification in video, broadcast, technical production, event technology, engineering, or a related discipline.
