- Develop a sourcing strategy for airline categories including ground handling, catering, inflight products, and logistics
- Align procurement activities with organizational goals and budget constraints
- Conduct market research and price comparisons for informed decision making
- Utilize competitive sourcing methods (RFP, RFQ) while following governance policies
- Collaborate with Legal and Finance on vendor contracts and ensure compliance with aviation standards
- Track contract renewals and manage the renegotiation process to prevent service disruptions
- Uphold procurement policies and monitor vendor compliance through SLAs and KPIs
- Nurture relationships with suppliers and oversee vendor onboarding processes
- Monitor vendor performance and address any deviations with operational teams
- Lead evaluations of offers and validate financial documentation against contracts
- Assist with cost saving initiatives and maintain dashboards for procurement savings
- Manage sourcing for crew uniforms and ensure logistics lifecycle accuracy
Requirements
- Experience in procurement for airline categories including ground handling, catering, inflight products, and logistics
- Knowledge of competitive sourcing methods (RFP, RFQ) and governance policies
- Ability to collaborate with Legal and Finance on vendor contracts
- Experience with contract renewals and renegotiation
- Strong vendor relationship management and onboarding skills
- Ability to monitor vendor performance using SLAs and KPIs
- Experience with cost saving initiatives and procurement dashboards
- Knowledge of aviation audit standards

Job Overview
- The Procurement Manager is responsible for leading and executing end to end procurement activities across the airline's operational, commercial, and corporate functions.
