About the Role

Responsibilities
- Source and procure raw materials, specialty chemicals, and related products as per project or client requirements
- Identify and negotiate with local and international suppliers to ensure best pricing, quality, and delivery terms
- Prepare and process purchase orders, supplier agreements, and import/export documentation (LC, CAD, TT, DAP, CIF, etc.)
- Coordinate with logistics, warehouse, and finance teams to ensure smooth material flow and accurate billing
- Track shipment schedules and follow up with freight forwarders and clearing agents for timely delivery
- Evaluate supplier performance and maintain an updated vendor database
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and UAE import/export regulations
- Monitor inventory levels and plan procurement cycles based on demand and lead time
- Support management with market analysis, cost comparisons, and procurement reports
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field
- 2–3 years of procurement experience in the Oil & Gas / Chemical trading or import export sector
- Strong understanding of international trade terms and documentation (LC, TT, DAP, CIF, etc.)
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and ERP systems
- Ability to handle multiple procurement projects and meet tight deadlines
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Experience dealing with suppliers from Asia, Europe, or the Middle East (preferred)
- Familiarity with chemical suppliers and logistics handling of hazardous materials (preferred)

About the Role
