Procurement Executive

Role Overview

Responsibilities

• Source products globally and from the UAE local market according to requirements and target pricing.
• Manage supplier identification, quotations, negotiation, sampling, quality checks, production, shipment, and delivery.
• Communicate with suppliers in the Far East, Europe, India, and other international markets.
• Track stock and reorder needs, obtain quotations, place orders, and generate purchase orders.
• Check pro forma invoices and send packaging, color, barcode, design, and other product specifications to suppliers.
• Follow up on samples, production, shipments, and active orders, then coordinate handover to logistics.
• Inspect goods at the warehouse and raise complaints with suppliers when required.
• Find vendors for customized orders and maintain a supplier database organized by specialty.
• Suggest new product ideas to the sales team and respond to inquiries within required time limits.

Requirements

• Two to four years of experience sourcing the same or similar products.
• Experience sourcing luxury retail goods, premium products, accessories, décor, lifestyle products, or high-end consumer goods.
• Direct experience dealing with Chinese manufacturers, factories, trading companies, and suppliers.
• Knowledge of international logistics and the complete sourcing cycle.
• Strong English communication skills, especially for email communication.
• Advanced Microsoft Office knowledge, especially Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Data analysis and negotiation skills.
• Experience in gifting or advertising and international sourcing, especially in China, is preferred.
• A bachelor's degree is preferred.

Compensation

• The advertised pay is AED 5,000 to AED 6,000 per month.

Workplace

• The role is performed in person in Dubai.
• Candidates must be able to reliably commute to Dubai or plan to relocate before starting work.

Employment

• The position is permanent and full-time.
