About the Company
Emirates Electrical Engineering provides turnkey solar rooftop solutions and designs and constructs electrical power projects in the UAE.
Its projects include high-voltage substations, cable networks, and transmission lines.
Job Purpose
Study material requisitions from jobs and contracts, source suitable suppliers, negotiate prices, coordinate delivery logistics, and manage inventory levels.
Responsibilities
- Procure materials, equipment, equipment hire, labour hire, subcontracts, and services for job sites.
- Obtain and review supplier quotations and recommend options to the Senior Officer Purchase.
- Place orders and ensure timely delivery to job sites.
- Maintain purchase and inventory records.
- Monitor supplier performance for delivery timeliness and product quality.
- Coordinate with divisional, project, and site managers on material and service requirements.
- Identify cost savings and report them to superiors.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, quantities, regulatory requirements, and legal requirements.
- Maintain supplier and subcontractor relationships.
- Improve procurement processes to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
- Perform other duties assigned by purchase leadership or management.
