- Source and procure construction materials, equipment, and subcontractor services in accordance with project requirements
- Obtain and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors to ensure cost effectiveness and quality
- Assess supplier capabilities, negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules
- Prepare purchase orders and ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and project specifications
- Coordinate with suppliers, site teams, and logistics providers to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment
- Monitor procurement schedules to support project timelines and minimize delays
- Maintain procurement records, supplier databases, and purchasing documentation
- Resolve procurement related issues, including delivery delays, material discrepancies, and supplier performance concerns
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related discipline
- Minimum 3 years of procurement experience, preferably in the UAE construction industry
- Strong knowledge of procurement processes, contract administration, and supplier management
- Familiarity with UAE suppliers, vendors, and local market conditions
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP/procurement software is an advantage
