Role Overview
Technical procurement role within the Building Construction division, reporting to the Procurement Lead.
Responsible for sourcing, vendor evaluation, cost estimation, and contract support for construction materials and subcontractor packages.
Works with engineering, project management, QA/QC, HSE, and site teams to meet specifications, QHSE, budget, and schedule requirements.

Job Purpose
Technical procurement role within the Building Construction division, reporting to the Procurement Lead.
Responsible for sourcing, vendor evaluation, cost estimation, and contract support for construction materials and subcontractor packages.
Works with engineering, project management, QA/QC, HSE, and site teams to meet specifications, QHSE, budget, and schedule requirements.
Technical Sourcing and Evaluation
- Source construction materials, bulk items, long-lead items, and supply and installation subcontractor packages against project specifications, drawings, and BOQs.
- Prepare technically complete RFQs for pre-qualified suppliers and subcontractors.
- Evaluate quotations, prepare comparative bid tabulations, and support award recommendations.
- Prepare cost estimates, negotiate terms, verify compliance, coordinate inspections, and close scope gaps or deviations.
- Prepare scopes of work and attendance matrices to prevent scope gaps.
Budget and Cost Control
- Prepare procurement cost estimates in line with approved project budgets.
- Monitor procurement expenditure and flag budget variances.
