Job Purpose
Manage procurement of construction materials, equipment, and services for a high-rise residential project.
Ensure procurement aligns with project specifications, approved budgets, quality standards, and delivery schedules.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop procurement plans using project requirements, BOQs, drawings, specifications, and construction schedules.
- Source suppliers and subcontractors for construction materials and specialist packages.
- Issue RFQs, obtain quotations, and conduct technical and commercial evaluations.
- Prepare quotation comparisons and recommendations based on price, quality, specifications, lead time, and commercial terms.
- Negotiate prices, payment terms, delivery schedules, warranties, and other commercial conditions.
- Process purchase orders in compliance with approved procedures.
- Coordinate with Engineering, QA/QC, Commercial, Planning, Logistics, and Site teams.
- Monitor approvals, manufacturing, dispatch, and delivery, particularly for long-lead items.
- Maintain procurement records, supplier documentation, and tracking reports.
- Resolve supplier delays, shortages, quality concerns, and non-conforming deliveries.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or specifications.
- Report procurement status and potential risks or delays to management.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- At least 5 years of relevant procurement experience in the UAE construction industry.
- UAE or GCC construction experience is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of construction materials, specifications, BOQs, drawings, and procurement processes.
- Experience in supplier sourcing, quotation evaluation, negotiation, and purchase order management.

Compensation
- Pay is AED 9,000 to AED 12,000 per month.
