Clean Energy Valley Schleswig-Holstein is seeking a mid-level Procurement Coordinator, Purchasing Officer, or Procurement Executive in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
The role manages operational sourcing, supplier negotiations, purchase order execution, expenditure optimization, and supplier issue resolution.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate supplier proposals, negotiate commercial terms, and issue and track high-volume purchase orders.
- Coordinate with procurement, supply chain, warehouse operations, and accounts payable teams.
- Conduct market benchmarking, audit vendor performance against SLAs, and identify supply risks.
- Prepare cost variance analyses and resolve supplier delivery or billing issues.
- Ensure compliance with purchasing policies and statutory audit standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in supply chain, logistics, procurement, business administration, commerce, or a related field.
- Understand the end-to-end procure-to-pay cycle, purchase requisitions, purchase orders, delivery verification, and goods receiving.
- Experience with RFQs, RFPs, RFIs, supplier evaluation, and market price benchmarking.
- Ability to negotiate pricing, payment terms, discounts, warranties, and service-level agreements.
- Hands-on experience with ERP procurement modules or dedicated procurement software.
- Intermediate-to-advanced Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets skills for reporting, budget tracking, and spend analysis.
- Understanding of commercial contracts, import and export requirements, trade compliance, and ethical procurement.
- Professional procurement credentials such as CIPS or CPSM are advantageous.
