Role Overview
Support daily purchasing workflows, vendor administration, and inventory coordination in an entry-level procurement position.
Work with Procurement Managers, Category Buyers, Inventory and Warehouse teams, Accounts Payable, and external suppliers.
Procurement Operations
- Create and track purchase orders and verify purchase requisitions against budget allocations.
- Confirm supplier order acknowledgments and delivery schedules.
- Request supplier quotations for routine purchases and follow up on order delivery statuses.
- Resolve minor order discrepancies and delayed shipment issues.
- Maintain clean digital procurement records and inventory logs.
Supplier and Invoice Administration
- Maintain supplier master databases and log vendor compliance documents.
- Audit delivery documentation against purchase orders and vendor invoices using 3-way matching.
- Support accurate submission of matched records to finance or accounts payable.
- Maintain confidentiality of vendor pricing agreements and follow ethical procurement standards.
