Role Description
Manage purchasing activities, optimize vendor relationships, and support cost-effective procurement operations.
Work with procurement, category, logistics, and finance teams to source goods, services, and raw materials.
This is an entry-to-mid level procurement role focused on sourcing, supplier performance, contract support, and spend analysis.
Responsibilities
- Review requisitions, issue purchase orders, and track goods receipt and delivery timelines.
- Issue Requests for Quotation, screen vendors, evaluate commercial proposals, and compare market prices.
- Negotiate pricing, payment schedules, delivery lead times, and basic warranty terms.
- Monitor supplier performance for delivery, quality, and contract compliance.
- Resolve shipping, quality, logistics, and billing variances.
- Support contract administration, purchasing policy enforcement, record keeping, and audits.
- Analyze spend data to identify cost-saving opportunities and coordinate cross-functional stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in supply chain management, procurement, logistics, business administration, operations management, or a related field.
