Role Description
Support smooth purchasing workflows, purchase order life cycles, and vendor coordination.
Collaborate with procurement, sourcing, warehouse, and Accounts Payable teams to acquire goods and services accurately, cost-effectively, and on schedule.
This is an entry-to-junior procurement role requiring numerical precision, professional communication, spreadsheet proficiency, and a methodical approach to supply management.
Responsibilities
- Create and issue purchase orders and support their life cycle through closure.
- Source competitive vendor quotations and prepare request-for-quotation materials.
- Track shipment delivery dates and verify inbound delivery documentation against purchasing records.
- Update supplier databases and resolve minor price or quantity discrepancies.
- Assist with supplier performance evaluations and maintain compliant purchasing audit trails.
- Verify purchase orders, goods receipt notes, and supplier invoices with Accounts Payable.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in supply chain management, procurement, business administration, logistics, or a related field.
