Role Description
Full-time remote role supporting the organization's purchasing and procurement activities.
The role may be titled Procurement Assistant, Purchasing Assistant, or Procurement Coordinator.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and process purchase orders and track order status.
- Maintain accurate procurement records and support timely delivery of goods and services.
- Coordinate with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Obtain quotes, compare pricing, and assist with vendor selection.
- Support purchasing policies and help resolve order or invoice discrepancies.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of procurement workflows.
Qualifications
- Solid understanding of purchasing processes and best practices.
- Hands-on experience with purchase orders, including creation, tracking, and documentation.
- Knowledge of procurement principles and procedures and support for vendor or sourcing activities.
- Strong communication, attention to detail, organization, and deadline management.
- Comfort using spreadsheets and procurement or ERP tools, plus basic office software.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment while following established guidelines.
- Prior procurement, purchasing, or administrative coordination experience is preferred but not required.
