This full-time remote role supports members of the VFX and AI User Group.
The position handles inquiries, platform guidance, issue resolution, interaction tracking, and community support improvement.
Core responsibilities
- Respond to inquiries through email, chat, and social channels.
- Guide users through platform features and resolve membership, content access, and job-posting issues.
- Track and document interactions, escalate complex concerns, and follow up on resolutions.
- Gather user experience feedback and identify recurring issues.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to improve community support and communication.
Qualifications
- Experience in customer service or customer support roles.
- Ability to manage customer experience across multiple channels.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for explaining technical or creative concepts.
- Reliable internet access, time management, and ability to work independently in a distributed team.
- Professionalism, patience, empathy, and a solution-focused approach.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience or interest in VFX, AI, creative technology, or online communities is a plus.
- Familiarity with CRM, helpdesk, or ticketing systems is beneficial.
- Relevant education or training in communications, customer service, media, or a related field is advantageous.
