Role Overview
Support the Canada Procurement organization with procurement intelligence, supplier insights, spend visibility, sourcing analytics, and category support.
The role covers logistics and services categories including trucking, rail, depots, warehousing, distribution, terminal operations, and related transportation services.
Develop fact-based insights that improve cost competitiveness, supplier performance, value creation, and profitable growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop visibility into supplier spend, external cost drivers, supplier performance, and procurement opportunities.
- Build TCO models, should-cost models, cost-driver analyses, market benchmarks, and competitive intelligence.
- Conduct supplier, market, operational, and commercial analyses for sourcing decisions and category strategies.
- Support RFx development, commercial evaluations, supplier assessments, and negotiation preparation.
- Maintain supplier intelligence covering capabilities, capacity, market position, risk, financial health, and performance.
- Track savings, cost avoidance, implementation progress, and procurement value realization.
- Develop dashboards, reporting tools, metrics, and KPIs for procurement performance and category outcomes.
- Support supplier performance management, business reviews, contract visibility, compliance, and governance.
