- Assist in sourcing and purchasing construction materials, equipment, and services in accordance with company policies and project requirements
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to obtain quotations, negotiate prices, and ensure timely delivery of materials
- Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, invoices, and procurement documentation
- Support the Procurement Manager in evaluating supplier performance and maintaining good vendor relationships
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in stock control to prevent project delays
- Collaborate with the project team to understand procurement needs and timelines
- Ensure compliance with legal and company standards regarding procurement processes
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field preferred
- Prior experience in procurement, preferably within the construction industry, is an advantage
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with keen attention to detail
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
- Proficiency in procurement software and MS Office applications
- Ability to work effectively in a fast paced and team oriented environment
- Knowledge of procurement best practices and local market conditions in Dubai is desirable
