We are seeking a detail-oriented and driven Procurement and Logistics Officer to join our company.
In this role, you will oversee the end-to-end procurement cycle, manage supplier relationships, and ensure the timely delivery of goods and services that keep our operations running efficiently.
Job Summary
The Procurement and Logistics Officer is responsible for managing the end-to-end procurement process and coordinating logistics operations to ensure timely, cost-effective, and compliant delivery of goods and services.
The role requires strong commercial awareness, supplier management skills, and operational coordination across internal and external stakeholders.
Procurement
- Manage the full procurement cycle: sourcing, RFQs/RFPs, bid evaluation, negotiation, and purchase order issuance
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable suppliers and vendors
- Ensure competitive pricing, quality standards, and timely delivery
- Review and analyze supplier quotations and prepare comparison reports
- Negotiate contracts, terms, and conditions to achieve cost savings and risk mitigation
- Maintain procurement records, contracts, and supplier database
- Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable regulations
Logistics & Supply Chain
- Coordinate shipment arrangements (local and international), including documentation and customs clearance
- Monitor delivery schedules and ensure on-time receipt of goods
- Liaise with freight forwarders, shipping agents, and customs authorities
- Track shipments and resolve delays, damages, or discrepancies
- Optimize transportation and logistics costs
- Ensure proper inventory coordination with warehouse teams
Compliance & Risk Management
- Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies and contractual obligations
- Monitor supplier performance and address non-compliance issues
- Identify and mitigate supply chain risks
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, logistics, or related field
- Min. 5 years of experience in procurement and logistics
- Knowledge of local and international supplier markets
- Experience in international shipping, customs procedures, and vendor management preferred

Preferred Skills
- Experience in Oil & Gas or Marine Construction Industry
- Familiarity with international trade regulations, Incoterms, and customs clearance procedures
- Pay: QAR5,000.00 - QAR6,000.00 per month
