Major Functions
Support procurement and contracting activities for timely sourcing of goods and services.
Contribute to supplier development, tendering, contract administration, cost optimization, and stakeholder engagement.
Safeguard company interests and maximize commercial value in accordance with company policies and governance requirements.
Procurement and Tendering
- Execute sourcing, tendering, bid evaluation, negotiation, contract award, administration, and close-out for goods and services.
- Develop sourcing, tendering, and contracting strategies that support continuity, value, risk mitigation, and business objectives.
- Prepare RFQs, RFPs, ITTs, commercial evaluations, award recommendations, and approval documentation.
- Collaborate with Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, HSE, and user departments on scopes, specifications, criteria, and strategies.
- Conduct commercial evaluations, market assessments, and negotiations for competitive pricing and favorable contractual outcomes.
Contract Administration
- Administer awarded contracts and purchase orders, including supplier performance, deliverables, KPIs, and obligations.
- Manage amendments, variations, extensions, claims, and change orders with appropriate evaluation, documentation, and approvals.
- Support procurement for maintenance, shutdowns, projects, production operations, and emergency requirements.
- Ensure HSE, technical, quality, commercial, legal, and regulatory requirements are included in contract documentation.
Cost and Supplier Management
- Identify cost optimization, value engineering, process efficiency, and savings opportunities while maintaining quality, safety, and operational requirements.
- Support supplier prequalification, vendor development, performance evaluation, and contractor relationship management.
- Build effective relationships with internal stakeholders, suppliers, contractors, and service providers.
Reporting and Compliance
- Maintain procurement and contract records, trackers, databases, reports, and audit-ready documentation.
- Prepare performance reports covering tender status, contract utilization, savings, supplier performance, and procurement KPIs.
- Support internal and external audits, compliance reviews, and governance initiatives.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of procurement and contract management processes, systems, and digital initiatives.
Professional Knowledge
- Maintain and enhance knowledge of procurement, contract management, supply chain practices, market conditions, and relevant oil and gas industry developments.
