Support environmental accounting and sustainability reporting.
Manage carbon accounting, reporting, and compliance submissions to regulators and relevant oil and gas authorities.
Lead client aspects of Environmental and Social Impact Assessment studies.
Support company and asset Environmental Management Plans.
Support and assist with HSE auditing and assurance activities.
Role Location and Travel
- The role is envisaged to be based in Sharjah.
- The role includes occasional trips to Kurdistan and potentially Federal Iraq.
Training Opportunities
- Training opportunities include ESIA liaison with consultant companies.
- Training opportunities include auditing and assurance.
- Training opportunities include environmental reporting using SAP software.
Responsibilities
- Support environmental accounting and sustainability reporting.
- Manage carbon accounting, reporting, and compliance submissions to regulators and relevant oil and gas authorities.
- Lead client aspects of Environmental and Social Impact Assessment studies.
- Support the development and maintenance of company and asset Environmental Management Plans.
- Support and assist with HSE auditing and assurance activities.
- Use SAP software for environmental reporting as part of the role's training and development opportunities.
- Liaise with consultant companies on ESIA activities.
- Travel occasionally from the Sharjah base to Kurdistan and potentially Federal Iraq.
Requirements
- Knowledge of environmental accounting, carbon accounting, sustainability reporting, and compliance submissions.
- Experience supporting or leading Environmental and Social Impact Assessment studies.
- Understanding of company and asset Environmental Management Plans.
- Experience supporting HSE auditing and assurance activities.
- Familiarity with SAP software for environmental reporting.
- Availability for occasional travel to Kurdistan and potentially Federal Iraq.
