Role overview

Support Sourcing and Procurement Managers across the end-to-end Procure to Pay lifecycle.

Assist with vendor management, contract lifecycle activities, strategic sourcing, and tender activities.

Support a global procurement function responding to APAC time zones across Australia, New Zealand, Hong Kong, and India.

Key accountabilities

  • Ensure the Procure to Pay process supports Procurement and Finance teams.
  • Contribute to cost saving, cost avoidance, and cost prevention initiatives.
  • Provide procurement information, data analysis, and purchasing metrics.
  • Manage supplier expenditure reporting and maintain the supplier database.
  • Improve supplier onboarding workflows, data mapping, and vendor maintenance processes.
  • Perform supplier credit checks, due diligence, and audit trail activities.
  • Provide procurement governance and guidance to stakeholders.
  • Resolve supplier issues and support new systems, procedures, and sustainable procurement initiatives.

Experience and qualifications

  • Tertiary qualification in accounting, engineering, business, finance, or a related field.
  • Two to five years of analytics experience, preferably in IT procurement or purchasing.
  • Experience with benchmarking, commercial research, and pricing data.
  • Sound understanding of ERP systems such as Ariba, SAP, or similar.
  • Advanced Excel experience with macros, formulas, and dashboards.
  • Mid-level experience managing Opex and Capex IT financial budgets.
  • Understanding of different vendor types and software, hardware, platform, and usage needs.
  • CIPS certification is desirable but not essential.
