MUFG is hiring an Associate, Securitised Products in its London-based Securitised Products and Supply Chain Finance Group.

The role supports the origination and execution of securitisation and receivables financing transactions across EMEA.

The position covers corporate, financial institution, esoteric and JCIB client transactions.

Responsibilities

  • Support the origination and execution of securitised products for corporate clients, especially trade receivables transactions.
  • Assist with renewals, amendments and waivers for securitisation transactions.
  • Contribute to transactions for financial institution and esoteric clients as required.
  • Analyse structural risk memoranda and reports, review legal documents and model cash flows.
  • Conduct transaction due diligence and manage internal and external client relationships.
  • Lead or support deal closings and ensure documentation is completed accurately.
  • Respond to client queries and provide service to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Monitor regulatory and market developments relevant to securitisation.
  • Build a cross-departmental network to support collaboration.
  • Support the public ABS franchise in EMEA across private placement and public ABS transactions.

Requirements

  • Degree-level education or equivalent work experience is required.
  • Solid experience executing EMEA securitisation transactions in a structuring or execution capacity is required.
  • A background in securitisation, structured finance or working capital finance is advantageous.
  • Legal, accounting or credit experience is beneficial.
  • Strong problem-solving, commercial, interpersonal and negotiation skills are required.
  • Advanced Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel proficiency is required.
  • European language fluency is an asset but is not obligatory.
  • A collaborative disposition and well-developed networking capabilities are expected.
