Ensure accurate and timely specimen processing and maintain specimen quality standards.
Manage daily workflow through effective employee scheduling.
Monitor and evaluate employee performance; provide coaching and counseling as needed.
Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure timely ordering of supplies.
Support phlebotomy operations as needed.
Serve as the on-call supervisory resource on a rotating weekend schedule.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and company regulations.
Adhere to and promote company compliance policies; educate clients on relevant issues.
Monitor turnaround times for lab testing and ensure timely delivery of results to physicians.
Ensure client-supplied materials align with hospital policies and usage standards.
Monitor and report on specimen errors and issues, ensuring cross functional visibility for root cause identification and correction.
