Reporting to the Operations Manager, this position plays a vital role in supporting patient care by ensuring the timely and secure pickup and transportation of specimens, medical supplies, and equipment to or from medical offices and client locations. The successful candidate will serve as a key point of contact for clients, delivering exceptional customer service while maintaining efficiency, professionalism, and compliance with company procedures.
We are seeking a dependable, service-oriented Specimen Courier to join our team. Reporting to the Operations Manager, this position plays a vital role in supporting patient care by ensuring the timely and secure pickup and transportation of specimens, medical supplies, and equipment to or from medical offices and client locations. The successful candidate will serve as a key point of contact for clients, delivering exceptional customer service while maintaining efficiency, professionalism, and compliance with company procedures.
Follow assigned routes and schedules to collect specimens from client locations at designated times.
Transport specimens safely using a company provided vehicle, accurately and in accordance with all company policies and applicable regulations.
Respond promptly to STAT specimen pickup requests and ensure timely delivery.
Complete supply deliveries and fulfill supply orders as assigned.
Accurately document pickups, deliveries, route activities, and client interactions on route sheets and other required records.
Maintain specimen integrity and confidentiality throughout the transportation process.
Operate company vehicles safely and responsibly while complying with all traffic laws and regulations.
