Primary Function
The Processing Lead is a mid-level position within the Qualla Enterprises, LLC organizational structure and will assist with operating and overseeing the inventory and packaging areas at the farm and the dispensary. The Processing Lead ensures compliance with guidelines set forth by the CCB and provides technical leadership and guidance to team members to ensure daily work, productivity, and quality goals are met as outlined by management. These specific functions are more fully explained below in the Job Duties and Responsibilities section.
Reports to: Processing Manager
Supervises: none
Pay Grade/FLSA Status: H10/Non-exempt
Qualifications
- · High School diploma or equivalent required
- · Experience in cannabis/agricultural industry preferred
- · 1 year experience in warehousing and inventory management with related software preferred
- · Must be at least 21 years of age
- · Ability to pass a comprehensive background check
Duties/Responsibilities
- · Monitor the status of the dry room and all product in the process of drying
- · Oversee the handling and transporting of all harvested plants from drying rooms to the trim room
- · Handle, transport, and dispose of any waste material from trim rooms
- · Record wet and dry weight for all product including flowers and trim.
- · Assist in ensuring accurate filling, packaging, and labeling of products within the Qualla production facility including, but not limited to: finished flower, pre-rolls, cartridges, concentrates, and other infused products
- · Assist with oversight of bulk packaging, transfer, and storing of cannabis products
