Process Improvement Engineer – Facility Management

Role Overview

Core Responsibilities

• Analyze operational processes and identify inefficiencies, risks, and improvement opportunities.
• Map workflows and develop optimized processes, procedures, and standard operating practices.
• Analyze operational and performance data to identify trends, root causes, and improvement opportunities.
• Lead Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Conduct Root Cause Analysis, gap analysis, and performance assessments.
• Develop corrective and improvement actions.
• Implement process improvements with cross-functional teams and support change management.
• Develop and monitor KPIs, performance metrics, dashboards, and reports.
• Measure improvement impact and recommend further actions.
• Standardize successful processes and implement best practices.
• Collaborate with Project Management, Engineering, Operations, Quality, HSE, and Commercial teams.
• Support productivity, quality, safety, sustainability, and cost optimization initiatives.

Additional Responsibilities

• Prepare progress reports, analyses, and presentations for senior leadership.
• Mentor and support team members in process optimization, Lean methodologies, and change management.
• Align process improvement initiatives with organizational objectives and sustainability goals.
• Work on-site and across operational environments to understand challenges and implement practical solutions.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field is required.
• At least 8 years of relevant process improvement, operational excellence, or continuous improvement experience is required.
• Experience in complex operational environments such as infrastructure, construction, energy, water, utilities, or facility management is required.
• Strong knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies is required.
• Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification is mandatory.
• Strong data analysis, performance measurement, KPI development, and reporting skills are required.
• Project management and change management experience are required.
• Knowledge of Root Cause Analysis, process mapping, gap analysis, benchmarking, and process optimization is required.
• Experience with dashboards, analytical tools, large-scale infrastructure or sustainability projects, and multinational organizations is advantageous.
