Role Overview
The position is a Process Expert in the Finance Solution Accounts Receivable department.
The role is based in Pune and supports accounts receivable activities in a finance shared service environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform bank receipt allocation in ERP or SAP and manage customer account reconciliation and related accounts receivable processes.
- Track, investigate, and reconcile unallocated receipts.
- Clear open items through coordination with customers and LFIs.
- Support store closing and sales reconciliation activities.
- Perform month-close activities, provisions, write-offs, valuations, and accounts receivable classification according to SOPs.
- Follow up on due and outstanding receivables.
- Prepare SOPs, dashboards, standard reports, and ad hoc reports on customer outstanding balances and aging.
- Review and update GL-to-customer-subledger reconciliation.
- Manage debit and credit notes, customer queries, and issue resolution.
- Conduct refresher training, knowledge tests, internal controls activities, payment research, customer analysis, and balance confirmations.
- Complete other tasks assigned by the Team Leader.
Education and Experience
- Commerce graduate or MBA in Finance from a reputed university.
