Raytheon Vision Systems (RVS) is a world leader in the research, design, and manufacturing of focal plane arrays and flight-based vision systems. Our Focal Plane Operations Process Engineering department provides world class semiconductor and focal plane array manufacturing processes in support of production and development products across multiple domains. We have an opportunity for a talented Senior Process Engineer with a background in project execution and coordination.
The ideal candidate will have past experience scaling up operations or transitioning manufacturing operations between sites. The candidate will work with other process engineers and skilled technicians to support procurement of new equipment, relocation of existing processes, and manufacturing startup.
The candidate should have technical proficiency in the manufacture of semiconductor components and assemblies or microelectronics using solvent and adhesive stations, thermal and vacuum processing equipment, and metrology tools. The candidate should also have proficiency and comfort in interfacing with multiple functions including Product Engineering, Facilities, Environmental Health and Safety, Factory Management, Equipment Engineering and Process Engineering.
What You Will Do
Lead the planning, execution, and implementation of process ramp activities for new and expanding manufacturing operations.
Partner closely with process engineers, facilities teams and external contractors to ensure utilities, equipment installations, and factory infrastructure meet process requirements.
Collaborate with program managers and engineering stakeholders to build and maintain integrated ramp schedules, resource plans, and readiness metrics.

Drive cross‐functional communication to align factory staff, equipment owners, and support teams on ramp execution plans and technical requirements.
Monitor process performance during early builds and transitions, implementing corrective actions and continuous improvements.
Support commissioning, qualification, and handoff of new processes and tools to sustaining engineering and operations teams.
Developing requirements and qualification plans for new equipment procurement.
Qualifications You Must Have
Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience.
Experience in Process or Manufacturing Engineering in an Optics, Electro-Optics, Medical, Semiconductor, Fabrication and/or Microelectronics environment.
Qualifications We Prefer
Experience with principles of semiconductor processing and metrology equipment
Demonstrated success in site readiness, factory startup, or greenfield manufacturing projects
Knowledge of safety, regulatory, and quality compliance requirements in production environments
Project management and reporting experience
Knowledge of statistical process control and design of experiments
Financial forecasting scope, schedule, and cost to report Estimate-At Completion (EAC)
Ability to travel <10% of time to support tool buyoffs
Ability to work in a cleanroom environment with full coverall garments.
