- Raytheon Vision Systems (RVS) is a world leader in the research, design, and manufacturing of focal plane arrays and flight-based vision systems. Our Focal Plane Operations Process Engineering department provides world class semiconductor and focal plane array manufacturing processes in support of production and development products across multiple domains. We have an opportunity for a talented Senior Process Engineer with a background in project execution and coordination.
- The ideal candidate will have past experience scaling up operations or transitioning manufacturing operations between sites. The candidate will work with other process engineers and skilled technicians to support procurement of new equipment, relocation of existing processes, and manufacturing startup.
- The candidate should have technical proficiency in the manufacture of semiconductor components and assemblies or microelectronics using solvent and adhesive stations, thermal and vacuum processing equipment, and metrology tools. The candidate should also have proficiency and comfort in interfacing with multiple functions including Product Engineering, Facilities, Environmental Health and Safety, Factory Management, Equipment Engineering and Process Engineering.
What You Will Do
- Lead the planning, execution, and implementation of process ramp activities for new and expanding manufacturing operations.
- Partner closely with process engineers, facilities teams and external contractors to ensure utilities, equipment installations, and factory infrastructure meet process requirements.
- Collaborate with program managers and engineering stakeholders to build and maintain integrated ramp schedules, resource plans, and readiness metrics.
