Process Development Scientist / Engineer

· Degree (BSc, MSc, or PhD) in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, Pharmaceutical Engineering, Chemistry, or a related discipline.

· Proven practical experience in laboratory-scale chemical process development, including planning and conducting experiments.

· Hands-on experience setting up, operating, modifying, and troubleshooting laboratory equipment.

· A sound understanding of chemical engineering principles and unit operations, such as mixing, filtration, heating, cooling, pumping, drying, and separation.

· Ability to analyse experimental results and translate findings into practical process or equipment improvements.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

· Excellent communication and technical reporting abilities.

• Experience in process modelling and simulation.
• Programming experience in Python, MATLAB, R, or similar analytical software.
• Experience within pharmaceuticals, fine chemicals, speciality chemicals, biotechnology, or advanced materials development.
• Knowledge or practical experience of Design of Experiments (DoE).
• Knowledge of Process Analytical Technology (PAT), process instrumentation, or real-time process monitoring.
• Experience in statistical analysis, multivariate data analysis, chemometrics, or other data-driven methods.
• Experience with scale-up, pilot plant operations, or manufacturing support.
• Knowledge of Quality by Design (QbD) principles.
