  • Prepare procedure rooms with the necessary equipment, instruments, medications, and supplies for scheduled procedures.
  • Assist physicians during interventional pain management procedures while maintaining sterile technique and infection prevention standards.
  • Position and prepare patients for procedures while ensuring patient comfort and safety.
  • Obtain and document patient vital signs and assist with patient assessments as directed.
  • Prepare, clean, sterilize, and maintain procedure equipment and instruments according to established protocols.
  • Assist with room turnover to ensure efficient patient flow and timely procedure scheduling.
  • Maintain inventory of clinical supplies and notify leadership of supply needs.
  • Accurately document clinical information within the electronic medical record (EMR).
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, infection prevention standards, and Company policies.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, medical assistants, and front office staff to provide high-quality patient care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain a clean, safe clinical environment.
  • Perform other clinical duties as assigned.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program, Surgical Technology program, or equivalent clinical training.
  • Current BLS certification.
  • Minimum of one (1) year of clinical experience in a physician practice, ambulatory surgery center, or outpatient procedural setting.
  • Knowledge of sterile technique and infection prevention practices.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.
  • Experience in pain management, orthopedics, neurology, sports medicine, or ambulatory surgery.
  • Experience assisting with fluoroscopic or image-guided procedures.
  • Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), Registered Medical Assistant (RMA), Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA), or Certified Surgical Technologist (CST).
  • Experience with inventory management and procedure room setup.
  • Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR).
