Role Overview

The Public Relations Officer handles company government transactions, employee visa and labor procedures, licensing requirements, immigration matters, and coordination with UAE authorities.

The role ensures company and employee documents remain valid, compliant, properly recorded, and completed within required timelines.

Government and Immigration Duties

  • Handle MOHRE transactions, including job offers, work permits, labor contracts, amendments, and cancellations.
  • Handle GDRFA and ICP transactions, including employment visas, entry permits, status changes, residence visas, and cancellations.
  • Process Emirates IDs, medical fitness, health insurance, visa stamping, and residency procedures.
  • Manage employee new visa, renewal, cancellation, and transfer procedures from start to completion.
  • Handle transactions with licensing authorities, municipalities, and other UAE government departments.

Document and Compliance Management

  • Track visa, Emirates ID, work permit, passport, medical insurance, establishment card, trade license, and other document expiries.
  • Assist with trade license renewals, amendments, establishment cards, immigration files, labor files, and branch documentation.
  • Prepare, submit, follow up, and correct government applications to avoid delays and rejections.
  • Coordinate required passports, photographs, certificates, signed contracts, and other employee documents.
  • Maintain accurate electronic and physical records of employee and company government documents.
  • Protect the confidentiality of passports, Emirates IDs, employee records, credentials, and government portal information.

Reporting and Payments

  • Keep management informed about visa quotas, application status, pending approvals, fines, expiries, and government-rule changes.
  • Coordinate with Accounts on government fees, application charges, deposits, refunds, and PRO-related expenses with supporting receipts.
  • Obtain management approval before non-routine government payments or commitments to additional charges.
  • Provide regular updates on completed, pending, rejected, and upcoming PRO activities.

Compensation

  • Pay starts from AED 2,000 per month.

Workplace

  • The work location is in person in the UAE.

Requirements

  • Experience handling UAE government transactions related to labor, immigration, visas, licensing, and employee documentation.
  • Ability to prepare, submit, track, and correct government applications accurately and within required timelines.
  • Ability to maintain accurate electronic and physical records for employee and company documents.
  • Ability to handle passports, Emirates IDs, employee records, company credentials, and government portal information confidentially.
  • Ability to coordinate with employees, government authorities, management, and Accounts.
  • Ability to monitor visa quotas, approvals, fines, expiry dates, fees, and government-rule changes.
