Role Overview
Appian is seeking a Principal Technical Consultant for its Customer Success team.
The consultant works with customers after the sale to develop software solutions on the Appian platform.
The role leads projects across the full lifecycle and delivers custom software and AI solutions for commercial clients.
Core Responsibilities
- Define, design, develop, and implement custom software and AI solutions using Appian.
- Understand client business processes and technical needs and gather functional and technical requirements.
- Launch relational data models in production and develop APIs integrating multiple systems.
- Collaborate with Appian Architects, Technical Delivery Managers, client technical teams, and business users.
- Brainstorm AI use cases and implement RAG, agentic workflows, prompt engineering, and generative models.
- Lead and mentor consultants through fast-paced software implementations.
- Empower clients to build process applications independently and drive platform adoption.
Required Qualifications
- At least 7 years of hands-on software development or technical consulting experience.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, information systems, mathematics, or a related field.
