Role overview
Principal Mobile Software Engineer (P5) role focused on enterprise mobile platforms across iOS and Android.
The role leads architecture, development, modernization, delivery, AI-driven engineering, and technical direction for mobile initiatives.
The position operates with broad autonomy and owns complete mobile initiatives from discovery through continuous improvement.
Mobile platform delivery
- Write production-quality mobile code across iOS, Android, shared platform libraries, and mobile integration layers.
- Lead modernization of legacy applications toward modular, maintainable, testable, and scalable architectures.
- Design and evolve app architecture, shared components, design systems, SDKs, offline capabilities, authentication, telemetry, and release infrastructure.
- Run project workstreams including technical discovery, solution design, delivery planning, execution tracking, launch readiness, release coordination, and post-launch follow-through.
AI-driven mobile development
- Lead AI-assisted design, coding, refactoring, test generation, debugging, documentation, and code review workflows.
- Design intelligent mobile experiences using LLMs, AI services, on-device intelligence, contextual assistance, automation, and personalization where appropriate.
