Principal Software Engineer - Cloud Services

In this role, you will:

Own architecture and implementation of major service components within UniFS-as-a-Service.

Lead multi-developer feature initiatives without direct reports.

Make technical decisions that impact system reliability, scalability, and security.

Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, QA, Support, and Documentation.

Mentor engineers on design quality, production readiness, and cloud best practices.

Drive improvements in CI/CD, observability, and operational excellence.

Participate in root cause analysis and implement preventative measures for critical incidents.

You will operate with high autonomy and are expected to identify problems, propose solutions, and execute without detailed direction.

9–12 years total software engineering experience.

7+ years in production Python systems.

3+ years designing distributed cloud-native services.
